Welcome to our Sunday School at Bearden UMC!

Every Sunday morning, people gather for coffee and goodies in our cafe at 9:15 AM, followed by Sunday School classes for all ages beginning at 9:30 AM (we have classes for older adults, younger adults, teens, children, and babies).

The various classes study a multitude of different topics or books of the Bible throughout the year. This class time is one of the ways we deepen our faith as we grow closer to one another at Bearden UMC.

We hold community book and Bible studies in the places and spaces where people are already meeting in our area! This allows us to experience different places in our community and meet the people there, but it can also be a place to invite people to join us who might not feel comfortable inside a Church building. We've had people join us simply by overhearing our discussion and wanting to chime in.

Pub Theology is exactly what you'd think! We are a group that meets at Flock Beer & Wine (on Sutherland Avenue) every other Monday to discuss current cultural issues and events through the lens of ethics and theology.

This is NOT a study, nor is it a prayer meeting. This gathering is simply amongst friends, where people can truly listen to one another, be honest about their feelings on the issues at hand, and be loving towards one another despite our natural disagreements.

We gather in the upper room of Flock from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

Welcome to United Women in Faith! We are a group of women who support one another and raise funds for missions, both locally and internationally.

We meet on the second Tuesday of every month (the day group meets at 11:00 AM and the night group meets at 6:00 PM).

Meeting locations can vary, sometimes at the church, in homes, or at local restaurants. Women of all ages are encouraged to join!

Lasso Leadership is a gathering of men who enjoy the hit show "Ted Lasso." We get together once a month (on a Saturday at someone's home) to discuss some of the leadership principles from the series! The conversations also bring in scripture passages, and we close with a time of prayer.
