FROM THE PASTOR
Essentials!
Dallas Willard is a strong contemporary writer that says, “The most telling thing about the contemporary Christian is that he or she simply has no compelling sense that under-standing of and conformity with the clear teachings of Christ is of any vital importance to his or her life, and certainly not that it is in any way essential.” Ouch!
Let me suggest that we need to reconnect with our essentials and bring them to the forefront of our daily lives. Some of the essentials that feed the soul of our selves, our families, and our daily lives are Prayer, Bible Study, Caring for People, Missions, and a Strong Base of Worship!
The earliest creed of the church is believed to be “Jesus is Lord!” The essential of the essentials is that we name Jesus as Lord of our lives and let that Lordship guide every aspect of our lives! Blessings, In Christ, TLS

A chain of love. Thanks be to God!
Our next host week is December 3-10. Please consider IHN in your holiday plans. Ask any of the people above about the various service opportunities and let them share with you the blessings they received as well as what is involved in being an evening host, overnight host, etc.
