FROM THE PASTOR What a great time to
invite! “Tom, you must be
kidding? Think about vacations, the
lake, reunions, and the like. Think
how they reduce our numbers and the choir and the things like that. Maybe we should wait until Autumn?” No! I stand by my original statement. We have just come off two missions (IHN
and Costa Rica); we are in the midst of a great outreach and VBS season. We are having a bunch of babies
baptized. What better time to show
visitors the essence of who and what we are about – the love of God and
touching people with that love! I believe people want to
be involved in something that is vital and that is making a Kingdom of God
difference. God is calling Bearden to
be a difference maker. As the Holy Spirit
leads, we will become a transformed people who are about a transformational
ministry! What a great time to
invite!! In Christ, TLS
